DR2H ESG Initiatives
At DR2H, we’re proud of our commitment to prioritise sustainability, social responsibility, and governance in all of our developments. Our approach ensures that each project contributes positively to the environment, enhances community welfare, and maintains transparency throughout development. Below are the key ESG elements embedded across our projects:
Environmental Responsibility
SERVICES
Our developments are designed to achieve Fit Wel level 3 BREEAM Very Good ratings, meeting strict sustainability benchmarks for energy efficiency, resource conservation, and low-carbon technologies.
DR2H consistently aims for net-zero construction standards, reducing emissions during construction by employing sustainable materials and energy-efficient designs, as seen in our PBSA schemes.
At Brookside House, for example, sustainability is at the forefront with a car-free design. We encourage alternative modes of transport by providing over 50 cycle storage spaces and excellent access to public transport, further reducing carbon emissions. We also contributed to support and expand the local network of the WMCH (West Midland Cycle Hire) scheme.
At our commercial developments, such as the MG Car Dealer at Pilot Park, Coventry, we ensure that landscaping supports local wildlife and enhances biodiversity while meeting excellent ESG standards. This design harmonizes with adjacent residential and woodland areas.
